On November 17th Polish Solidarity Campaign with Palestine (Kampania Palestyna)
and the Polish Stop the War Initiative protested against the ongoing Israeli attack on Gaza.
A demonstration was held outside Israeli embassy in Warsaw where the protesters were holding Palestinian flags and placards demanding to end the attack and occupation. They demanded the polish leaders and International organizations to play their role in ending Israeli aggression on Gaza
The participants chanted slogans against attack on Gaza and expressed solidarity with the oppressed people of Gaza, Palestinian territory.
Members of Polish Solidarity Campaign with Palestine underlined the fact that The Republic of Poland is a signatory to the Geneva Conventions, The Hague Conventions, the Helsinki Accords and other international human rights treaties, as well as the Rome Statute, therefore is obliged to observe and execute them without hesitation.
There was also a group of 15 people holding Israeli flags showing their support of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip. They were representing Polish Jews Forum and Erec Israel organisation.
Representatives of the Polish Solidarity Campaign with Palestine (Kampania Palestyna) stressed that the protests against the Israeli aggression on Gaza are held all over the world as well as in Jerusalem, Tel Awiw and Haifa and gave words of solidarity and support from the Israeli human rights activists.
